Book­selling

Fane is proud to partner with independent and local bookshops across the country, and we’re passionate about creating opportunities for booksellers to thrive at our events. Below are some common questions from bookshops interested in working with us:
How do I get in touch to sell at Fane events?
We’d love to hear from you! Simply email info@fane.co.uk to connect with us. Keep in mind: we plan our events well in advance, so please try to get in touch as early as possible to get involved.
Do you take commission?

Nope! We never take commission from the bookshops selling at our shows.

However, some venues may require a commission. In these cases, we negotiate directly with the venue, with 10% commission as our standard request.

How do you decide who works at Fane events?

In most cases, the publishers we work with guide us toward specific bookshops.

We reach out to independent bookshops to collaborate on our tours and always respect the territories that bookshops serve – local connections matter.
